About Me

Just a "mom" with thoughts to share about crafting, card making and other things. This is really just about my "opinion" on my crafting obsession.

I will be going to a Black Friday Crop instead of shopping this year.  My Great Enabler, Jenny Ford is hosting this wonderful day at her home and I am looking forward to it.  I will be spending my time making gifts for some friends of mine use the wonderful tutorial from Decor8YourLife
I've made a few of these in the past and they are not only easy to make, the result is absolutely stunning.  I'll post my completed mini albums on Saturday.

I hope y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Also, while you are out shopping for friends and families, don't forget the less fortunate in our community. This is a worthy organization that I think you should consider  Jesus Cares At Exit 0
Once again, it has been a while since I posted anything.  It seems that there is little time to create and all spare time is spent on new house projects.

One of the new house projects was adding some "CASED" artwork to the laundry room walls.  What do you all think?

I did also find time to make a couple of door wreaths for fall.

New Space

Well  I moved into my new house in March of 2017 and have the new craft space set up..finally.
Remarkably, it looks like the old space, just bigger and brighter!  Yay!

I'm looking forward to hosting my first crop with some of the best people I know!

New Album Project

I finally finished this album for one of my dearest friends. Her son is graduating in June and will be going off to college in the fall.

I made this album using Paper Hoarder Disorder's Graphic 45 Typography 9x9 Flip-It Album tutorial.

My crafting mojo was failing me until I made a trip to Indianapolis Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Festival.  While there I found some incredible inspiration from Local King Rubber StampsSweet Stamps and Endless Creations  Check out my latest creation...

I also have to let you all know that I added some mega crafting organization to my world.  While at the Indy Stamp Festival, I purchased a few pieces of shelving from Stamp-n-Storage.  It really does make my crafting flow a bit easier.  Before, I had all of my inks in clear, plastic shoe boxes. Now......perfection!

Thanks to Jennifer McGuire I found the refrigerator bin for storing my stamps.  I'm loving this and hope to add a few pieces later.

So, once Judy's Joyful Journey craft space was cleaned up and organized, I was able to create a few cards.  I hope that I can keep it this clean.......{wishful thinking}......

I will be crafting away and hope to update you all to my progress a little more frequently.  Always take some time to create a thing of beauty!

New Stamps

It has been forever, well since July anyway, that I've had a chance to write a post, I just had to tell you all about the cutest stamps that I've ever seen.  They come from the Stamping Bella website and I absolutely adore these.  For those of you who know anything about me, you know I have a love affair with all things poultry.  I can't help it, I love chickens.  My family will only allow me to use them as a decorating theme in the kitchen though.  So I have to find a way to use them in other ways.   Feast your  eyes on this super cute stamp!

Absolutely ADORABLE!!!  I colored them with a few Copic Markers and am pretty pleased with the way it turned out.  I'm not great with the markers but I wanna be.

Stamping Bella  just release a bunch of new stamps today and I just couldn't help myself.  You have got to check these out!
